El nuevo Rey de Inglaterra, Carlos III, dio esta mañana su primer discurso como monarca y líder de la Commonwealth, tras la muerte de su madre la reina Isabel II.
Carlos III dedicó el emotivo mensaje a su “amada madre”, quien espera ya descanse al lado de su “amado padre”; también, anunció el nombramiento de su esposa Camila como Reyna consorte, así como de su heredero Guillermo y su esposa Kate como Duques de Gales.
Aquí el mensaje:
“Queen Elizabeth was a life well lived; a promise with destiny kept and she is mourned most deeply in her passing. That promise of lifelong service I renew to you all today.”
